August 30, 2010. No retreat, no surrender. There is something that I have come to admire about Outcast over the years and it's that many players in the guild seem to never give up. Some of us probably should, like the old troll writing this up but still I have to take a bow for the players that day after day dedicates their evening to achieve something that seems impossible to the degree that it hurts to log on. With four wings of the Icecrown Citadel cleared out on hardmode all that remains is The Lich King. I know that fight is going to be one of the hardest we have faced so far. I know that fight is going to be a pain. I wouldn't be surprised if I find myself not wanting to get out of bed in the morning soon. At those moments it will be great to look back and remind myself that there is a core of Outcast players that I know will not just give up even when the sky turns to it's darkest color. A lot of time has passed since we first walked through the gates to the Icecrown Citadel. A lot of frustration, happiness, anger, despair, friendship and laughter have been shared since. No matter if we kill the Lich King HM or not now I think we all can feel accomplished not so much for killing the bosses but for slowly but surely getting there, not giving up. It's my hope for the future that we manage to play even better as a team, trusting eachother as we rely on oneanother. If we can fulfill that I am sure that both the Lich King and any boss Cataclysm may throw at us will have to watch their asses or we will be there to spank them.
Blåtira for the Outcast Gazette
We all know how Sindragosa will be remembered... and why is Chills showing off his shadowmourne when I'm dying!?
