Lord Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, Gunship Battle & Deathbringer Saurfang
December 9-10, 2009. I know what was bad with the new 25-man dungeon. The Inability to even get inside because it was full, the now obligatory random disconnects, the realtively low difficulty of the encounters... but let's focus on the fun stuff. The boss mechanics were awesome and really had us look forward to the hardmodes and not worry about the difficulty. Besides, who knows but Blizzard may turn it up a notch for the upcoming wings. And the Gunship! How fun was that? Ok, maybe not hanging around killing adds and moving out of circles on the floor but... jetpacks! Marrowgar was pretty basic as promised and Deathwhisper gave us something more substancial to chew on. A couple of tweaks to the target priorities and a glorious return of our long lost former guildmaster Kalani wearing half the gear the rest of us had but still managing to heal enough for the tanks to keep the enemys at bay had the lady drop her mana shield. I bet Bagljashbull was hoping she would drop her dress instead. One that definatively didn't drop the pants of any mobs was Umslapogus who complained that he couldn't see what was front or back of the skeletons! Fortunately he can handle them whatever side they attack from. Some problems with the server had us spend a bit too much time waiting to be able to finish off Saurfang before it was time to go to sleep but the tries on him was pointing in the right direction. We would kill him the next day without too much trouble. And of course we did. In fact we did it so well that we managed to get the achivement for killing him before too much blood was shed and qualified for a world 372... something on it. Way to go, compadres! But I don't think that half of the guild cares that much for it because I know what they are waiting for... next week so they can jump in their jetpacks again of course!
